About SLC

In October, the weather can be a bit colder, so you will want to dress warm. We usually don’t have snow in October. We recommend checking weather.com before you arrive at Salt Lake City to receive the most updated information.

Uber & Lyft are two great options for getting around SLC. The electric scooters are a popular way to get around the city, just download the app for your desired scooter company. There’s also the TRAX train with a free ride zone in the downtown Salt Lake City area. Alternatively, if the weather is decent, most places of interest are only a short walk away.
